Pour Toulouse, l’urbain et le péri-urbain s’arrêtent pour le secteur qui me concerne (l’Est et le Nord-Est) aux premiers coteaux : Saint-Jean, Rouffiac-Tolosan, Castelmaurou, Saint-Geniès, la Communauté de communes des Coteaux de Bellevue dont j’ai suivi aujourd’hui quelques jolis sentiers de randonnée balisés mais pas que, Pechbonnieu, Bruguières. Passé la vallée du Girou commence le « rurbain », j’avais appris ça de la bouche d’un bureaucrate du Rectorat il y a quelques années pour qualifier la commune où j’exerçais, ça m’avait fait bien rigoler.
Ce territoire, même si l’urbanisation est bien présente, est assez préservé : il est vallonné (ça se sent à vélo et sur les chemins, les pentes sont toutes à 2 chiffres question pourcentages), boisé et l’activité agricole est présente, maïs, tournesol, colza, sorgo, quelques maraîchers, quelques élevages …
« Péri-rurbaine » : je suis parti du « rurbain » pour aller vers le semi-urbain …
La balade du jour a mis à l’honneur quelques jolis coins de ce territoire : la Coulée verte de Rouffiac, la Bordette, le Bois de Preissac à Saint-Jean, le Grand Cèdre à Saint-Geniès-Bellevue, le ruisseau de Lenguille vers Saint-Loup-Cammas puis celui de Carles, les bords de l’Hers Mort jusqu’à Castelginest, le joli bois du Moureau entre Gratentour et Pechbonnieu où j’ai eu droit à une bonne session de bartassage (je l’écris malheureusement souvent, les arbres souffrent depuis quelques années avec les canicules et les sècheresses et ne résistent plus aux forts coups de vent, un amoncellement de troncs et de branches dans ce bois), je devais passer à l’école pour une bricole, j’ai donc terminé par la route …
Balade variée, de superbes sous-bois, quelques pistes, de jolis panoramas …
